Activity: Develops the first 100% biosourced and biodegradable Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) for agricultural use. Based on chitosan, it serves as a water reservoir (from 100 to 1200g/g of SAP) and fertilizer for plants, reduces water consumption and avoids leaching of fertilizers. It meets the Reach regulation on microplastics and EU2019-1009 on fertilizing materials. Its other applications: diapers, cosmetics, packaging etc.
